Making Changes – Day 34
Commit to making one to three changes in various areas of your life. It can be anything from going to bed at a set time each night, to meditating 5 minutes in the morning, to calling up a friend once a week.
Start Making New Habits
Start small. It’s not important how big your new habit is. What’s important is that you’re making positive change in the three parts of your life (body, mind, soul). Small habits will lead to bigger habits, and you’ll get there when you get there. For now, focus on consistency.
Get specific about your intentions
You should be able to clearly state whether you completed your habit or not. “Eat healthier” has no parameters. “Eat a salad with each meal” is specific and let’s you answer yes or no to whether you did it or not.
Write it out below and email a copy to yourself. This is a good thing to share with your accountability partner or someone else who can encourage your efforts.
